Lisa has a been a long time student of Canadian Olympic Bronze medalist, Ashley Holzer, two time Olympian and Bronze medalist, Hilda Gurney as well as Columbian Olympian, Dr. Cesar Parra. In addition, she has trained with other Olympians, Steffen Peters, Lendon Gray and Robert Dover and participated in clinics with German trainers, Rudolf Zeilinger and Karin Rehbein and well as US Olympic Bronze medallist, Debbie McDonald.
